Sep 2020 • Couples* My husband likes beer more, but ended up doing the tasting with me, and is a converted wino LOL! We loved this place and the owner, who was So sweet and accommodating! He has the most wine flavors I have seen and some really unique flavors! We honestly loved them all but make sure to try the Charred Peach, Skeeter Piss, and Orange Coffee for those different tastes! Had a great Cab and Scuppernong too! We will def make another Road trip back this way since I am sad he does not ship! The owner had great stories and spent a lot of time with us! Overall, top-rate experience! Oh yeah, and don’t forget to try his slush and get a slush mix to-go to turn any flavor wine into a slushie!

Great Stop! Apr 2019 • Couples* We made High Country Cellars a planned stop on a recent trip to Atlanta. It was a very enjoyable experience! The wines were very good and all of the people were very warm and friendly. Ended up buying a case of assorted wines, a slush mix for wine and a candle! The winery is very convenient in that it is only about 2 miles off of the Interstate. They have a wine for every taste. We will certainly stop here again if we are in the area. Written May 4, 2019

Go for the SMOKED CABERNET RED WINE it's DEVINE! Plenty of RV Parking, Pet Friendly, & Has a Patio 🚐 + 🐾 + 🍷 = ❤️Jul 2023 • CouplesThe SMOKED CABERNET WINE was the reason we came! The FLAVOR is about as UNIQUE as its name! Delicious is an understatement! Originally we went to Lush a local spot in Anniston that offered us this wine and OMG it blew my mind! We had to come check out the place for ourselves and boy am I glad we did! If you're looking for "Pet-Friendly Places" and Plenty of room for RV Parking then this is your stop! They are not too far off the exit in Heflin, Alabama. We parked then van outside and left the dogs inside as it was raining. It was so nice to meet the staff and owner who were above and beyond friendly. Loved seeing all the different wines and even homemade wine slushies great for those hot summer days! Not only did we buy a case of SMOKED WINE we also picked up some of the Margarita & Jalapeño Flavor Wine to mix and let's just say you must try them together! They had a very extensive list of red and white wines -- all types of flavors... some for drinking and some for cooking etc... This is a cute little spot to grab a glass, have a taste, or pick up a case of wine! They are also part of one of the wine trails kinda of like a passport mainly for fun for those who travel within the area/region. And, let me not forget to say if you're not able to stop by they do ship to most states within the USA! RV Friendly, Pet Friendly, Has a Patio, What more do you need! The only thing that they do not have are any yummy treats to enjoy while you eat, so that would be my only thing -- but then again that could have something to do with being more of a wine tasting room vs food and drink type of establishment. At least they do one thing right and this make an AMAZING SMOKED WINE! Personally I like it room temperature, but they do like to serve it chilled. So you'll have to decide! P.S. I'm pretty sure they sell the smoked version in white wine too ;-)
